High Temperature Water-to-Water Heat Pump
ClimateMaster announces a new line of high temperature water-to-water heat pumps with EarthPure® (HFC-410A) Zero Ozone Depletion refrigerant. Beginning in 2010 U.S. manufacturers may no longer produce air conditioning equipment using refrigerant R-22. HFC-410A is the industry-accepted alternative, although it requires a complete redesign of the refrigeration circuit. ClimateMaster is in the process of converting all product lines to this new environmentally-friendly refrigerant.

Geothermal systems can be defined as either open loop, closed loop, or standing column well. Since open loop systems rely on wells, ponds, lakes and streams as water sources they are generally less costly to install. However, water composition and water flow are open loop system factors beyond our ability to control. Closed loop systems do not rely on these uncontrollable conditions.
